Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Enterprise Security Trainer to design and deliver security awareness training programs for federal agencies and small businesses. The role focuses on enhancing understanding and practical implementation of cybersecurity best practices to maintain secure enterprise and small business environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and the unique challenges faced by small businesses in maintaining security.

We are seeking a dynamic Enterprise Security Trainer to design and deliver security awareness training programs for federal agencies and small businesses. The role focuses on enhancing understanding and practical implementation of cybersecurity best practices to maintain secure enterprise and small business environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and the unique challenges faced by small businesses in maintaining security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain security training materials, presentations, and workshops tailored to federal government requirements, including NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP standards.
- Conduct security awareness training for small business owners and employees, focusing on practical, easy-to-implement security measures like secure browsing habits, device security, and recognizing cyber threats.
- Deliver virtual training sessions to diverse audiences, simplifying technical concepts for non-technical participants.
- Create workshops and materials for small businesses to help them implement cost-effective and scalable security solutions.
- Provide training on regulatory compliance, including HIPAA, and CMMC, to federal contractors and small businesses as applicable.
- Teach basic incident response protocols and steps to take in case of data breaches, phishing attacks, or ransomware incidents.
- Collaborate with federal agencies and small businesses to assess specific needs and customize training content for maximum impact.
- Prepare detailed training reports, attendance records, and evaluation summaries to track effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity training or related roles, focusing on federal government projects and/or small business clients.
- Familiarity with challenges faced by small businesses in maintaining security practices.
- Knowledge of tools and practices to enhance security on small business platforms such as Office 365, Google Workspace.
This is a remote position.
Compensation: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
