Overview
STSI is seeking an experienced Atlassian Systems Administrator to provide technical expertise and support for our project management environment. Atlassian Jira and Confluence are central to our agile framework, enabling integrated project teams to plan, track, and deliver initiatives collaboratively while consolidating documents into a single, reliable source of truth.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of Atlassian tools to ensure seamless operation, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer, configure, and maintain Jira and Confluence to support agile methodologies and project management processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to design and implement workflows, custom fields, dashboards, and reporting.
• Integrate Atlassian tools with other enterprise applications to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for reliability and scalability.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are met across all Atlassian environments.
• Provide user support, training, and documentation to empower teams in effective tool usage.
• Manage upgrades, patches, and ongoing improvements to the Atlassian ecosystem.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as an Atlassian Administrator with hands-on expertise in Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
• Familiarity with Jira Service Management, advanced roadmaps, or other Atlassian marketplace add-ons is a plus.
• Experience with integrations, scripting, and automation (e.g., Groovy, REST APIs, or PowerShell).
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
• Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-100, ACP-200) strongly preferred.
• Experience with cloud and on-premise Atlassian environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and enterprise service management.

Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
