Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Material Master Functional Consultant to design, configure, implement, and support enterprise-level Material Master data governance solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP MDG-M, SAP MM, workflow, BRF+, data quality, and master data replication/integration.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather business requirements through workshops and translate them into effective Material Master data governance solutions.
• Design and configure SAP MDG Material Master (MDG-M) data models, attributes, entities, and relationships.
• Configure MDG UI/FPM and support user-friendly master data maintenance processes.
• Design and configure Change Request (CR) types and approval workflows based on business requirements.
• Configure BRF+ validation and derivation rules to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Define and enforce Material Master data quality and governance standards across the material lifecycle.
• Configure and support Data Replication Framework (DRF) for distributing Material Master data to downstream systems.
• Work with IDocs, Web Services/SOAP, and other integration technologies for master data synchronization.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to workflow, validations, data activation, and replication.
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for enhancements and custom developments.
• Develop and execute unit test scenarios and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide production support, troubleshoot data governance issues, and implement corrective solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, integration teams, and technical teams across the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG for Material Master.
• Good understanding of SAP MM and Material Master business processes.
• Experience configuring MDG data models, UI/FPM, Change Requests, and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of BRF+ validation and derivation rules.
• Experience with DRF and Material Master replication.
• Understanding of IDocs, Web Services/SOAP, ALE/RFC, and SAP integration concepts.
• Experience working in multi-system SAP landscapes.
• Strong understanding of Material Master data quality, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional design, testing, UAT, and production support.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP MDG implementations.
• Experience in end-to-end MDG-M implementation or rollout projects.
• Knowledge of Material Master data migration and data cleansing.
• Experience working with global organizations and complex master data governance processes.

This is a remote position.
Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
