Position Overview
The Collibra Platform Engineer provides technical support, administration, configuration, integration, workflow development, and operational maintenance for the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. The position supports Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Metadata Harvesting, Workflow Automation, Platform Integrations, and related infrastructure components across Development, Test, and Production environments. The engineer is responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, performance, and availability of the Collibra platform and associated services.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, maintain, and support the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform.
- Implement and modify Collibra operating models and governance capabilities.
- Develop, maintain, and support workflows using Collibra Workflow Designer and Workflow Manager for Eclipse.
- Configure and support Collibra Edge components, metadata harvesting processes, and lineage capabilities.
- Administer and support Collibra Jobserver operations and metadata ingestion activities.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot REST API-based integrations and platform services.
- Develop, maintain, and support JDK-based microservices and related platform components.
- Perform coding, integration testing, logging, exception handling, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring activities.
- Support software components operating on Linux and Windows server platforms.
- Manage certificates, secrets, service accounts, credentials, and related integration dependencies.
- Support Agile development, source code management, release management, and sprint-based activities.
- Provide operational support, incident resolution, system upgrades, platform enhancements, and technical troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Government stakeholders and technical teams to implement data governance and metadata management solutions.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of one (5) year of hands-on experience with the Collibra platform.
- Experience administering and configuring Collibra in multi-environment implementations.
- Experience implementing and modifying Collibra operating models.
- Experience supporting workflows developed using Collibra Workflow Designer and Workflow Manager for Eclipse.
- Experience with Collibra Edge, including metadata harvesting and lineage configuration.
- Experience with Collibra Job server, including metadata harvesting activities.
- Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting JDK-based microservices.
- Experience with REST APIs, coding, logging, exception handling, and integration testing.
- Experience maintaining software components on Linux servers.
- Experience maintaining software components on Windows servers.
- Experience managing certificates, secrets, service account credentials, and related integration dependencies.
- Experience using source code management platforms and Agile work management tools for epics, stories, and tasks.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Additional relevant experience may be substituted for formal education, where applicable.
Required Certifications
- Collibra Solution Architect Certification or
- Collibra Ranger Certification.

This is a remote position.
Compensation: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
